Hi Zhang,

You pointed me to the right direction!
The problem was in the fastcgi_php.tmpl where the fastcgi_pass was set to php_workers instead of the socket location.

Thank you very much for your help!

You are a legend.

I see it referenced in bug reports and I believe sogo supports carddav, but there doesn't appear to be a way in their GUI:

Hi there,
I'm needing to use UTF-8 on a FreeBSD Server that is primarily configured for iRedMail.

By default, FreeBSD is not configured to use UTF-8.
Can I ask if anyone is using UTF-8 on FreeBSD with iRedMail?

Here's what I get if I run: $ locale
LANG=
LC_CTYPE="C"
LC_COLLATE="C"
LC_TIME="C"
LC_NUMERIC="C"
LC_MONETARY="C"
LC_MESSAGES="C"
LC_ALL=

I'm intending to enable UTF-8 a system-wide, by following this tutorial
https://www.b1c1l1.com/blog/2011/05/09/ … n-freebsd/

I did a quick search and found some issues with RoundcubeMail and utf-8 encodings and I'm wondering if it is safe to go on with it. Any advice on how best to go about it.

Thanks!

How to provide forgot password for normal users.

My iRedmail version is 2.7.
I want to know how to setup / provide forgot password features in SOGo login page for normal users.
So they can reset password themself instead of connecting to the admin users.
Is it possible?

Hello Zhang,

IMAP and POP3 last login is great to clean old/unused mailboxes.

In our case we use many mailboxes for email sending only (SMTP Auth).
Are these login times logged as well?

AFAIK "last login" feature is pure dovecot.

SMTP last login will be required to be done via postfix.

Any thoughts on that?

Best regards,

Bernhard

Install using the iRedMail.sh script fails for me.  It isn't able to find `perl-LDAP` like for the poster two comments up.

As that poster indicated, perl-LDAP is no longer included in the main EPEL repository, it's been moved to the archive.

I have no intention to use iRedMail with LDAP.  Would it be possible to remove this requirement? Is there a flag to do so?

Note:  This is a VM to test iRedMail on EL8.  It is a fresh install and fully up to date.  Trying to decide whether to use 7 or 8 for a long term (5+ years) installation.

I did that, but I still see that TLSv1.1 is enabled, after service restart for both ports 25 and 587.

smtpd_tls_protocols = !TLSv1.1, !TLSv1, !SSLv2, !SSLv3

Hi, I did that too, but if I scan the server with system like Nessus Security Scan, I can see this:
TLS Version 1.1 Protocol Detection
and affected ports:
587 / tcp / smtp
25 / tcp / smtp
8010 / tcp / www  (this is something which I don't know where it come from. Local nmap didn't show it)

I have restarted the postfix and even the server itself, but no luck.

"forgot password" systems typically send an email to the recipient with instructions to reset, so this is not really going to be possible as far as I know.
User's can change their KNOWN password in Roundcube or SOGo

I realized that now. What is the best way to uninstall iRedMail so I can deal with it in a dedicated server?
