Having the same problem on CentOs 7

nginx error.log shows:

2020/06/30 19:25:28 [error] 588#0: *573 connect() failed (110: Connection timed out) while connecting to upstream, client: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX, server: _, request: "GET / HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://127.0.0.1:9999", host: "www.mydomain.com"

Nothing has changed on the server, yesterday working amazingly well, today 502 Bad Gateway error message, then it starts working fine for like 2 minutes and then again 502 bad gateway error.

Please help

Hi,

We have installed the WHMCS module, the connection seems to be well established, but when creating an account from the client area, we get the following error: Incorrect integer value: '' for column `vmail`.`mailbox`.`lastloginipv4` at row 1

any idea what the mistake was?

CentOS MySQL

Used rsync to copy a Maildir/ to Maildir/ which I assume replaces all the dovecot-acl-list, index, etc. along with subscriptions, etc.
Essentially:  rsync -izvhr --progress. _path/Maildir/ _dest/Maildir/

RoundCube now times out on connection and either times out or fails to read some directories.  Is this being reindexed or failure of some UID value on file systems?

What is typically the best method to merge two different files stores for a user?

Thank you!

Any idea what these "flags" mean for the files:

>f+++++++++ 1593529886.M719178P13523...

Thank you.

Looks like some issue with php-fpm or nginx. But no clue right now. sad

Do you have any other useful info for troubleshooting?

iRedAdmin(-Pro) doesn’t work with Python 3 right now, you have to use Python 2.

Btw, we’re porting iRedAdmin(-Pro) to Python 3, it may take few months, please be patient.

Dear all,

You can upgrade iRedAPD to latest 4.1, mlmmjadmin to 3.0. Both work with Python 3 (and drops Python 2 support), their upgrade scripts will install required Python 3 and python modules automatically. We addresses few issues in upgrade scripts after released iRedMail-1.3, both should work well now.

For iRedAdmin(-Pro), you have to stay with Python 2, with package “uwsgi-plugin-python” (or “-python2”).

It’s possible and should be easy if you know the trick, like setting up Dovecot+Postfix in a load-balance cluster.

- Postfix uses Dovecot as SASL auth server, you need to configure Dovecot to listen its auth service also on a inet interface, so that other servers can connect to it.
- make sure your firewall doesn’t block the requests between 2 servers.

so iRedAdmin uses python2 and iRedAPD uses python3?

As when i was upgrading i read the below

iRedAPD-4.0 and later releases require Python 3.5+, only listed distribution releases are qualified to upgrade:

CentOS 7 and later
Debian 9 and later
Ubuntu 18.04 and later
FreeBSD with latest ports tree
OpenBSD 6.6 and later
If you're running an old Linux/BSD release which doesn't have Python 3.5+, please stay with iRedAPD-3.6, it's the last release supports Python 2. if you need to upgrade to iRedAPD-3.6, please follow this upgrade tutorial instead: Upgrade iRedAPD from v1.4.0 or later releases to v3.6.

Is there any way i can get both to work at the same time?  Downgrade to pyhton2 and iRedMail to 3.6?  IF so how can i do this?

I can copy or send you all the logs that you would need, i don't see anything odd in the log files, just the nginx error log.

Nothing has changed or have been installed in the server. It just stop working from one day to the other one, if you need access to the server pm me and i will send you the server info.

I ran systemctl list-unit-files | grep -E 'php[^fpm]*fpm' and showed me this:

php-fpm.service                           enabled
php71-php-fpm.service                     enabled

Is it normal to have those 2 php-fpm services enabled? shouldn't it be just one?

Thanks, I rerun the update of iRedAPD and mlmmjadmin and now the warning is gone, however I still get a 502 Bad gateway and nginx error log shows below

2020/07/01 19:26:43 [error] 2027#2027: *86 upstream prematurely closed connection while reading response header from upstream, client: 192.168.1.1, server: server.com, request: "GET /iredadmin HTTP/1.1", upstream: "uwsgi://127.0.0.1:7791", host: "server.com"

Do you have any advice?

Re: iRedAdmin Internal Server Error

ok just as an update i still cant get ireadmin working even though i found a way for apache2 to use python 2, then uninstalled the mod_wsgi for python3 and install the wsgi debian package for python2.

These are the versions: [mpm_prefork:notice] [pid 25288] AH00163: Apache/2.4.25 (Debian) OpenSSL/1.0.2u mod_wsgi/4.5.11 Python/2.7 configured -- resuming normal operations

So still get the internal server error but the error from the apache2 error log is different:

[wsgi:info] [pid 26484] [remote nn.nn.nnn.nnn:0] mod_wsgi (pid=26484, process='iredadmin', application='<hostname>|/iredadmin'): Loading WSGI script '/opt/www/iredadmin/iredadmin.py'.
[wsgi:error] [pid 26404] [client nn.nn.nnn.nnn:54231] Truncated or oversized response headers received from daemon process 'iredadmin': /opt/www/iredadmin/iredadmin.py
[core:notice] [pid 26398] AH00052: child pid 26484 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

I tried the version of wsgi from debian 8 which is 4.3.0 as i know this has worked previously but i get the same error - 'Truncated or oversized headers'.

Hello,
A new VPS in the cloud which maybe is not so new with Zone drifting enabled.  Is it safe to turn it off with iRedMail or is iRedMail making use of this.

Try to restart "iredadmin" service, any error in /var/log/syslog? also, show me full output of command "systemctl status iredadmin".

If you're running Debian 9, you should use package "libapache2-mod-wsgi".

iRedMail will enable its own zone "iredmail" automatically, you don't need to modify it manually.
