Uh just a thought... Is there a limit of memory amavis can use? As in software limit configurable in the file somewhere? Maybe once its reaching it it crashes? Or am I the one that's reaching?
Kindest regards.

So I had an idea...
Replaced:
Restart=on-failure
with
Restart=always
in the
/usr/lib/systemd/system/amavis.service
Then running
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl restart amavis
Will see if this helps with the "stopped" issue.
Kindest regards.

I also have problems with DKIM! Realized today when sending to a gmail address. I have the default config and didn't change anything.
Came here to get help, but it seems like I'm not the only one...
EDIT: Thank's for the tip with MxToolbox! This solved my issue!
I pasted it as is into the txt dns record with the quotes, removing the quotes solved my issue
EDIT2:
Only solved for some mail providers, but maybe it takes some time for the dns change.
As far as I know this has fixed the issue.
I've checked the status of amavis this morning and it was running / active since 44 minutes ago. Which means at some stage 44 minutes ago it failed and restarted. That's the behaviour I was hoping to see.
Kindest regards.

Hey this worked for me. Zhang suggested to do below and it works now:
Please check file /opt/iredapd/settings.py, parameter "plugins =", make sure plugin "sql_ml_access_policy" is enabled. If not, please append it and restart "iredapd" service, then try again.
I was interested in a easy to configure e-mail server that will be mostly used so that my virtual machines can send me reports / notifications. I got it configured nicely however I am on dynamic IP and my rdns is not matching so most of the big e-mails won't talk to me by default.
I got all that I needed from iRedMail.
Thank you!
Kindest regards.

Hello.
Freshly installed (maybe 2 weeks ago) iredmail 1.6.0. Installed using the downloadable .sh script.
Everything is fine but I am using a non-standard port for my services like mail and admin so my address would look like this:
https : // mail . williwonka . eu : 33333 / mail /
or
https : // mail . williwonka . eu : 33333 / SOGo /
I have a ssl cert and everything is working except for when I am trying to log into the SOGo admin panel. The problem is rewrite.
The address becomes:
https : / / mail . williwonka . eu / SOGo / so / williwonka @ williwonka . eu / Mail
and it should be:
https : / / mail . williwonka . eu : 33333 / SOGo / so / williwonka @ williwonka . eu / Mail
Sorry about the spaces in the address. I cannot post links.
This is how I got the login page to work:
https : // mail . williwonka . eu : 33333 / SOGo /
root@mail:/etc# grep 33333 /etc/nginx/templates/sogo.tmpl
#location ~ ^/sogo { rewrite ^ https://$host:33333/sogo; }
location ~ ^/SOGO { rewrite ^ https://$host:33333/SOGo; }
root@mail:/etc#
Where do I change this so that SOGo/so rewrite works?
Kindest regards.
AndrzejL
After I enter login & password on the login page - I get an error -
ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED
What should I do?
Thanks!

The names of my local (domain_local) and mail (domain.com) are different from each other. Set up user authorization according to the instructions:
https://docs.iredmail.org/active.directory.html
I also saw this thread: https://forum.iredmail.org/topic3165-in … omain.html
As a result, it turns out that a user with login username@DOMAIN_LOCAL (in upper case), not username@domain.com, can log in to roundCube, and through a mail client. But when I try to send a letter to any address, I get the message "<username@domain.com>: Sender address rejected: User unknown". What's wrong, how to fix it?
I wanted to reply to closed topic https://forum.iredmail.org/post83650.html#p83650
and say I have confirmed your solution does work.
So many other tools I use allow space or '=' that I fell into the trap.
Interesting though, that there didn't seem to be any complaint about extra/unknown --parameters.
Do your python tools usually ignore unknown --parameters.
Thanks, Rob.
What's the related log lines in /var/log/iredapd/iredapd.log?

Did you solve the issue now?
You still need to add the credentials in the file specified in "smtp_sasl_password_maps" parameter.
I solved my issue yes!
Sender_dependent_relayhosts is just defined in the database,
Hi!
Thanks! I have checked that, but I am not sure how it works even thou I have tested it multiple times on other postfix installations.
The thing is, that iRedmail queries the database in order to fetch the transport maps for each user/domain - which is what I have done.
I wonder, if it is possible to create a "backup_transport_map" or some kind of "round robin" setup by query the database?
If I create multiple rows with the same email for example - how will postfix react then?

Hello,
I'm trying to get iRedMail 1.6.0 going on FreeBSD 13.1-RELEASE. Everything goes fine until the mariadb 105 when the install puts symbols deflate in /usr/lib which complains about being readonly then the install stops. I've trimmed the log because otherwise it's quite extensive, but
Here's the log:

I think I've got a backscatter problem and not entirely sure how to go about fixing it. I've added the address (www-data@mail.oregonrenaissance.org) to the incoming and outgoing blacklists but it doesnt seem to have an effect on it.
This is the details of the bounce I'm getting

- Is "mail.oregonrenaissance.org" your server hostname?
- Why no "smtpd_sender_restrictions" in "postconf -n" command output?
- What's the related log in /var/log/iredapd/iredapd.log?
- It seems a port tree issue, not the iRedMail installer.
- Is switching to Linux or OpenBSD an acceptable option?
