You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before and if so, how it was fixed?  I would hate to run the "you could try running..." suggestions, but do not want to break an otherwise perfectly functioning mail server.

cemmedue.com. 3600 IN MX 10 posta.

This is WRONG. It must be pointed to a FULL domain name. in your case, it should be 'posta.cemmedue.com', not 'posta'.

I don't think it's the error because the main domain works..
Anyway i tried to modify it but again the same error

Can't send e-mails via smtp: Connection timed out

Hi,

I can't send emails to external servers. Receiving emails work, sending between two internal users work.

In /var/log/mail.log it looks like this:

Mar 15 15:39:49 ip-178-216-202-221 postfix/smtp[7466]: connect to alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[74.125.23.27]:25: Connection timed out

=======

When I use telnet/wget to portquiz.net on port 25 it doesn't connect.

=======

traceroute -n -T -p 25 gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com gives:

traceroute to gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com (64.233.165.27), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets

Package conflict caused by different yum repos.

Try to disable gf, ol7_UEKR3, ol7_latest and try again.

Yeah, disabling the ol7_* repos is not an option as those are the distro's own update repos (OL7 = Oracle Linux 7).  The gf (GhettoForge) repo and I can try and disable and see if that helps.

Your server cannot connect to Google server. This is a network issue, or maybe firewall issue.

# telnet 74.125.23.27 25
Trying 74.125.23.27...
Connected to 74.125.23.27.

Works fine here.

Also, you should request to remove your IP address from:

Hi Charly,

Thank you.

I doesn't change when I turn off firewall:
/etc/init.d/iptables save
/etc/init.d/iptables stop

so I assume it's a network problem. What else can I test to find a solution?

Re: Sender address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table

yes it does. It works with all

https://[your_server]/iredadmin/
https://[your_server]/mail/

If I send and emai from iredmail to Gmail and than reply to is it is received in iredmail. But if I try to send it from a gmail or and other email that initial email has not been received I get an error.

Ok, resolved. Port 25 was blocked by hosting company.

SMTP via 587 STARTTLS does not work.

It's not clear what "transaction failed" exactly mean. I'm afraid that you have to contact its mail server admin to figure it out and get through this issue.

It sounds weird.

*) If sender servers connected to your server, that means you have correct MX or A records.
*) If replying from Gmail works for this user, it means the address exists.
*) But why a new email from other server (including Gmail) doesn't work? i'm confused.

What's your real domain name and mail server IP address?

Looks like a network issue, or firewall issue. Your client cannot connect to port 587 on this server.
