It's better to put all domains in ONE ssl cert.

Hi Zhang,
  you means if i have 2 company abc.com and def.com which is not related in spelling, and i host this 2 domain on the same iredmail server. I need to changes my abc.com ssl to have multiple ssl like Subject Alternative Name (SAN) SSL Certificate, and this will have our 2 sites secured?

Thanks
Napoleon

Please show us related error message.

The most often errors are those:

Nov 29 20:54:48 mail postfix/submission/smtpd[13725]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from lpngmailrelay01.domain.com[192.168.0.200]: 554 5.7.1 <joro@domain.com>: Recipient address rejected: Sender is not same as SMTP authenticate username; from=<root@isu.domain.com> to=<joro@optixco.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<lpngmailrelay01.domain.com>

Nov 29 21:29:24 lpngmailrelay01 postfix/smtp[4794]: 85EE67FEA4: to=<root@isu.domain.com>, relay=mail.domain.com[public IP of iRedMail]:587, delay=105313, delays=105312/0.02/0.08/0.25, dsn=4.1.2, status=deferred (host mail.domain.com[public IP of iRedMail] said: 450 4.1.2 <root@isu.domain.com>: Recipient address rejected: Domain not found (in reply to RCPT TO command))

Those errors are for a internal mail relay system (lpngmailrelay01), which we build and which uses sasl authentication towards iRedMail. I am pointing a printer/MFU to relay trough that system, in order for the users to have scan to email features enabled.

IredApd - GreyList

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version 0.9.6
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:  Debian
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):  MySql
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Apache
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? Yes
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

Is it possible to setup greylist to accept connections after retry timeout not on recipient based, but server/domain based?
Now greylist operates like in this example : (sender ip address is always the same)
- <sender> <recipient1> -> Greylist

- greylist timeout expires

- <sender> <recipient2> ->  Greylist
- <sender> <recipient3> ->  Greylist
- <sender> <recipient1> -> Pass

Thanks

No, as mentioned up on post one, it's at /etc/uwsgi/apps-enabled/iredadmin.ini.

I'm getting a constant stream of dovecot imap errors. I've tried deleting pretty much every dovecot* file in all the mailboxes but the owner of these account still cannot send mail. The Thunderbird error is something about not being able to log in but all the logs show successful connections but TONS of these dovecot errors. She was unable to send and receive yesterday with one of the accounts. I cleared the indexes and caches, but it only started working again upon reboot. That isn't working today. What's up?

While reading this tutorial, it says that the amavisd_wblist plugin must be listed in plugins in the setting.py file.  My settings.py file only shows wblist_rdns.  This is a default install.  Shouldn't amavis be included?  If not, how to resolve?  Need white/black list control.

Sorry that wasn't your tutorial.
When using your tutorial I am very confused at the syntax.  Here is what I enter:

mysql> INSERT INTO alias ('info@xxxdomain.com', 'xxxdomain.com', 1);

and I get a syntax error.

mysql> INSERT INTO alias VALUES ('info@xxxdomain.com', 'xxxdomain.com', 1);

tells me Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

Not yet clear how outlook2016 - iredmail and SOGo are joined together.

Mail is working fine,
Should calendars and contacts be sinchronyzed together automatically ? (as there aren't any matching between two systems)

How should it work ??
Thank you

Are you running iRedAdmin-Pro now?

Thanks for the reply.  I'm just using the default installation settings other than what I described above about SPAM levels.  It looks like the DNSBL feature wasn't enabled in postfix so I enabled it.  I couldn't tell if greylisting was enabled, so whatever the default setting is there.

I'll let it run for a while and see if SPAM levels are reduced and report back..

Thank you.

I'm trying to retrieve emails from my server using Data Migration tool. Everything works out until I have to choose a user. The migration tool doesn't find anything.

Is there a solution how I could import my email to Google's Gsuite account? I can't run a eCommerce site and have emails tossed to client's trash bin and that's why I got the Gsuite.

Hello,

We try to use a smtp relay host (mailjet) per domain and we have the following error :

(SASL authentication failed; cannot authenticate to server in-v3.mailjet.com[5.196.43.135]: no mechanism available)

The iredmail version purchased is the latest.

We add the relay host to the domain with the iredadmin panel

[in-v3.mailjet.com]:587

in postfix/main.cf we add :

#sender dependent relay host
smtp_sender_dependent_authentication = yes
smtp_sasl_password_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/sasl/sasl_passwd
smtp_sasl_auth_enable = yes
smtp_sasl_mechanism_filter = login
smtp_sasl_security_options = noanonymous

We create the sasl_passwd (example) :

@domain.com aaaaaaaa:aaaaaaaa

And we did :

/usr/sbin/postmap hash:/etc/postfix/sasl/sasl_passwd
service postfix restart

Any idea ?

Thanks

mmap() Error, Invalid Argument - Double slash in path?

I get a ton of these mmap() errors in the log. I noticed there's a double slash before Maildir. Is this normal? Config error? Dovecot bug?

dovecot: imap(email@email.net): Error: mmap() failed with file /shares/email/vmail/vmail1/email.net/e/m/a/email-2017.02.25.08.09.39//Maildir/dovecot.index.cache: Invalid argument

I noticed this is the setting in dovecot.conf. It does have a trailing slash. I'm afraid to remove it to see what happens since I'm not sure who's responsible for creating the directory structure tongue

# Mail location and mailbox format.
mail_location = maildir:%Lh/Maildir/:INDEX=%Lh/Maildir/

I'm running dovecot version 2.2.22

Thanks!

The iredmail docs for sender relay is quite ambiguous :

https://docs.iredmail.org/relayhost.html#sender-dependent-relay-host

Do we need to do only this part, or also settings in global relay host part ?

Then add smtp username and password in file /etc/password/sasl_password like below:

user@domain.com smtp_user:smtp_password

Don't forget to run postmap hash:/etc/postfix/sasl_password after modified this file.

Why there is two different files ? /etc/password/sasl_password and /etc/postfix/sasl_password ? mistake ?

None of this possibilities works.

Thanks

Package debian libsasl2-modules was missing obviously.

sudo apt-get install libsasl2-modules

It's all good now.
Hope it's will help someone !

The docs should talk about this.

I do not get any entry in the dovecot log when i'm sending a mail for the catchall.
In my option this behavior is correct because dovecot has nothing to with the mail flow .. dovecot is an IMAP service...

simpler maildir folder on running system

Hello!
I have Iredamil 0.9.4 running on Centos 7 ,but this is not a point for my question.
backend is LDAP

As I understand, in settings.py iredmail have a setings for
MAILDIR_HASHED = True
and
MAILDIR_APPEND_TIMESTAMP = True

The matter is that at I have some domains with mail.
What will occur in case of change of the given parameters?

Will the folders are converted?  I need folders without timestamp and not hashed.
Is there any way to convert the format of the folders from hashed?

Sorry for my Eng.

No, as mentioned up on post one, it's at /etc/uwsgi/apps-enabled/iredadmin.ini.
