Hi Zhang thanks for your reply, I had the ip address already listed in /opt/iredapd/settings.py and that was my issue as it was not working correctly so I posted here in the forum. On re-checking settings.py I have found a mistake on my part and on fixing this mistake the mail is being recieved now without issue. Thanks to you and nicolasfo for your replys and help.

I have configured spf record and verified my domain via google postmaster tool.
But when I am sending mail to my mail server from anywhere it's giving :

554 5.7.1 error
timed out

Cannot receive mails

I cannot receive emails from any mail server to my local ired mail server.

all DNS entries have been configured as per the iRed documentation.

- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 0.9.7
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: CentOS 7.0
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): PGSQL
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Nginx

Error message I am getting is: The connection to server timed out / Host unreachable.
Error code: 554 5.7.1 (when configuring microsoft outlook 2016)

Thank you for you answer, so, if i add this column to my vmail-old.sql and export it to the new server error will be solved?

Hello,

I added column on my new installation, and now i can log into Roundcube, but i cannot see users mail. What is wrong?
I can see mail in Postmaster mailbox, but cannot see mail in usual user mailbox.

- Did you migrate mail accounts?
- Did you migrate mailboxes?
- Is the maildir path stored in SQL db same as the one on file system?

All ports are opened by default from our ISP.

I can send emails but not receive.
MX priority is highest for my mail server spf record.

I didn't find any obvious configuration issue.

is your mail client application configured to perform SMTP authentication to send email through port 587?

Can you connect to port 25 of your server from your laptop? for example:

telnet <server-ip> 25

It should be. The mail setup says that you use 587, and I never changed any of the settings anywhere. All I did was install iRedMail.

No because i have a business contract with 5 fixed IP's from unitymedia cable in germany. In my Mikrotik Router I've also opened the Port 25, 465, 587, 995 and 993. I use a Bind9 for DNS for local and external resolution. The problem with the internal mail i've fixed, because he had a rest from a test inside the configuration. I reinstalled dovecot and postfix and saved the configs before. Then i compared the new and the old one.
At this time i can send and receive internal mails. And i can send mails from internal to external, Receiving from external not working.

Hello,

I my domain i have some email like support@mydomain.com with are shared between users as public mailbox (https://docs.iredmail.org/public.folder.html)
For some users i introduced sending  emails as support@mydomain.com
by setup https://docs.iredmail.org/allow.certain … .user.html
Everything works fine, but now every one who exist in array ALLOWED_LOGIN_MISMATCH_SENDERS
can send email as any in my domain. 
Is there any possibility to secure this ?
I would like to be sure that every authorized user will be able to send email only as support@mydomain.com

Login with username instead of email address

Can I set up my enviroment to allow users to login as either test.user@domain.com  or testuser if I set the "username" as testuser ?   I see some settings in the config that will auto fill the domain name on the end of the users account but I want to have the username and email address different and allow login from both.
