Hi,
No, it works only for cases when user closing the browser, and then trying to open mailbox again after session life time period.

But it doesn't work when user just do nothing on mailbox page, and don't close browser.

Seems Roundcube doesn't offer this option, i suggest you posting to Roundcube mailing list to get support from developers.

By the way, why you want webmail to disconnect when the client is idle? Does it cause performance issue now?

Ok, thank you, will ask Rouncube guys
It's just due to security policy. In fact we have laptop blocked after 5 min of user inactivity, but Security Team also requred to block user mailboxes on 5 min of user inactivity.

I don't know how to do the second part of Step 3:
Generate an IEA email address with other tool/script, then insert them into MySQL database.

Can you provide instructions or a source that explains exactly how to do that?

Good day!

I installed iRedmail successfully. I mean I can access it just fine until I decided to re-install iRedmail for testing purposes. I used clear_iredmail.sh in uninstalling iRedmail nad install it just like what I did before. After installation, I'm getting "Server Error 500" in /mail and "Not Found The requested URL /iredadmin was not found on this server." in /iredadmin.

Kindly help. I'm a complete newbie in iRedmail. Thanks!

Any one have a good tutorial on setting up a smarthost using FreeBSD?  I have scoured google and come up empty.  The ones for Debian work for Ubuntu but come with a Cyrus auth error when starting postfix on BSD.

Try this to generate a IEA mail domain name and email address:

$ python
>>> print u'your_domain.com'.encode('idna')

Replace your_domain.com by the real domain name or email address.

*) To create a mail domain name in SQL database with SQL command line:

sql> USE vmail;
sql> INSERT INTO domain (domain, transport) VALUES ('IDNA_DOMAIN', 'dovecot');

*) To create a mail user in SQL database:

sql> USE vmail;
sql> INSERT INTO mailbox (username, password, maildir, quota, domain, active) VALUES ('IDNA_EMAIL', '{PLAIN}123456', 'domain.com/username/', 'IDNA_DOMAIN', 1);
sql> INSERT INTO alias (address, goto, domain, active) VALUES ('IDNA_EMAIL', 'IDNA_EMAIL','IDNA_DOMAIN', 1);

NOTE: You must replace all 'IDNA_DOMAIN' and 'IDNA_EMAIL' by the real ones generated with python command.

"clear_iredmail.sh" was deprecated for MANY years, it didn't work well.
The best way to reinstall iRedMail is: reinstalling OS, then install iRedMail.

About "smarthost", do you mean you want to forward received email to another server?

thanks zhang for the reply, on my webmail cant find in preferences which manage or controlled this part, no store message into server something or any related to this.

the problem occurs if i send messages with a couple of attachments not exceeded in 5mb, my message already sent and already delivered in the receiver of message with complete set of attached files, but when i look into drafts folder some attachements file are gone but it leaves one attachment file randomly so i think thats the reason why it retains a copy in my draft folder..

Show us output of command below:

postconf -n | grep 'cyrus'

iRedMail configures Postfix to use Dovecot as SASL authentication server:

smtpd_sasl_type = dovecot

The output of postconf -n | grep 'cyrus' is blank.

Re: DKIM signing for multiple virtual domains?

Hello,

Thanks for a wonderful product. I was able to install and configure iRedMail -SPF and DKIM for my default domain but am stuck at having DKIM work for domain other than the default.

Under Ubuntu 14.04, the conf files for amavis live in directory
/etc/amavmis/conf.d

I believe I should be making changes to 50-user but all I see is 'local_domains_maps=1 and commented out line #Catch-all disclaimer setting: /etc/postfix/disclaimer/default.txt

Could you point me in the right direction?

Oh my God. I'm glad I reinstalled it in virtual box.

The thing is, I also installed iRedmail in our production network, but there are still problems with domain and hostname on our server that's why I'm planning to re-install iRedmail.
